Online Candle Making Course
Mikaya's online candle making course is taught live, one to one, on video by the founder, over three sessions: theory, a hands-on practical and a doubt session. Every session is recorded. A kit with materials, a scale and a thermometer can be couriered to your home anywhere in India, and the fee is the same as in person at our Delhi studio, from ₹4,499.
How the online course works

Book and choose your dates
Message us on WhatsApp or enrol on the course page. We confirm your dates on WhatsApp within 24 hours of booking, and the three sessions are scheduled around your availability.

Receive your kit, or your shopping list
With a kit, the materials, scale and thermometer are couriered to you and are yours to keep. Delivery takes about 2 to 3 days to cities near Delhi NCR and 4 to 6 days to cities far from it, so book a little ahead of your first session. Delivery is billed at actual courier cost. Without a kit, you receive our vendor list and an exact shopping list when you book, and you learn with your own tools.

Learn live, one to one
Three sessions on video, taught by the founder: 3 or more hours of theory, a 3 to 4 hour practical that you make along with the teacher, and a doubt session for as long as you need. You can ask questions as you pour, and the teacher sees your work.

Keep the recordings and the support
Every session is recorded, so you can watch it again while you practise. You also keep the written recipes, the supplier directory, six months of call and WhatsApp support, and a certificate of completion from Mikaya India.
What you learn online
The online course covers the same material as the in-person course: jar, pillar, taper, sculptural and tea light candles, wax melts, wax tablets and wax sachets, packaging and labelling, and how to fix the common faults, including frosting, wet spots, sinkholes, tunnelling, sooting and weak scent throw. It starts at the fundamentals: materials, temperatures, ratios and safety, so you do not need any experience.

A self-paced course suits you if you only want to watch and learn the basics at your own speed. A live one-to-one course suits you if you want your own practical checked, your own faults fixed and a chance to start selling.
