What Is the Mikaya Home Fragrance Masterclass?

The Mikaya Home Fragrance Masterclass is India's most comprehensive 1:1 candle and wax product making course. Unlike group workshops that hand you a single recipe to follow, this program teaches the complete system — raw materials, formulation, manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting and finishing — across every major handcrafted home fragrance product category.

You'll learn to make jar candles, pillar candles, taper candles, sculptural candles, whipped candles, baked candles, succulent candles, layered candles, wax melts in every format, wax tablets, wax sachets and reed diffusers — using natural wax only.

Available as a virtual candle making class (pan-India and international) or in-person in Delhi, with the same curriculum and pricing for both.

Frequently Asked Questions

None at all. The course begins with absolute fundamentals and builds to professional-level formulation. If you can follow a recipe, you can do this.

Your materials kit is dispatched before Session 1. You make alongside the session at your own workspace, with live guidance in real time. The experience is identical to in-person — just from your own home.

No. The group workshop is a short tasting experience. This masterclass is a full-day 1:1 program covering every product format, with formulations, ratios, a recipe manual and a follow-up session. They are not comparable.

The 1:1 format is intentional — the session adapts entirely to you. If you’d like to bring someone, contact us to discuss a joint session arrangement and pricing.

Course 2 covers the business side: branding, Shopify store setup, pricing strategy, social media and building a home fragrance brand. Course 1 (this course) is purely the craft of making.

In-person sessions are available in Delhi only. Virtual sessions are open to students pan-India and internationally.

Soy wax, coconut wax, beeswax and their blends. We do not use paraffin or gel wax — this course is built on natural, non-toxic materials throughout.

For in-person sessions, the kit is handed over on the day. For virtual sessions, the kit is dispatched after booking confirmation and typically arrives 3–5 business days before your session date.
