If you live in Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad or Faridabad, a candle making class in Delhi can feel a long way off. The choice is not only which class, but whether to travel for it at all.
We teach in west Delhi and live online across NCR, so here is how to decide between the two, city by city.
From anywhere in NCR you can learn with us in two ways: at our Karampura studio in Delhi, or live online with a kit couriered to you in about two to three days. The course and fee are the same, so choose by how you like to learn.
Getting to the studio from each city
Our studio is in Karampura, in west Delhi, close to the Blue Line stations of Kirti Nagar and Moti Nagar. The Blue Line runs from Noida Electronic City and Vaishali across Delhi to Dwarka, so it is the line to look for.
| From | By metro |
|---|---|
| Noida | From a Blue Line station, the Blue Line toward Dwarka, with no change |
| Ghaziabad | Blue Line from Vaishali toward Dwarka, so check the train's destination |
| Gurugram | Yellow Line to Rajiv Chowk, then the Blue Line toward Dwarka |
| Faridabad | Violet Line to Mandi House, then the Blue Line toward Dwarka |
These are routes, not timings. Check the Delhi Metro app for your own start point, and allow for the change at Rajiv Chowk or Mandi House.
Or learn online and skip the commute
The online course is the same three live sessions: theory, a hands-on practical and a doubt session. Every session is recorded, and the fee is the same as in person.
With a kit, the materials, a scale and a thermometer are couriered to you. Delivery takes about two to three days to cities near Delhi NCR, and is billed at courier cost. See the online candle making course for details.
Studio or online: how they differ
| At our Delhi studio | Live online | |
|---|---|---|
| Travel | Metro trip to Karampura | None |
| Materials | At the studio | Kit couriered, or a shopping list |
| Teacher | Beside you at the bench | Watching you over video |
| Fee | ₹4,499, or ₹6,499 with a kit | Same |
| Recordings | Every session | Every session |
If you want the teacher to see your hands, choose the studio. If you would rather practise in your own kitchen, with your own time, choose online. The Delhi course page has the studio details.

Comparing local classes in NCR
Some NCR listings are short social workshops of about an hour, which suit an evening out. A multi-session course needs a different set of questions.
Ask how many live hours you get, who teaches, what is included and who issues the certificate. Our guide to choosing a candle making institute lists nine questions to copy. On group size, Village Craft and Candle says eight to twelve students is the sweet spot.
The bottom line
You do not have to cross NCR to learn candle making. Take the Blue Line to our studio if you want the teacher beside you, or learn live from your own home and have the kit delivered.
